These days in the 21st century, we have become dependent on our desktops like an intimate pal. That’s why it is so upsetting to have our computers performing so slowly. You double click on an icon and then you sit and wait, knowing that it is going to be about 30-45 seconds (sometimes longer) to present the highly anticipated program. As you boil in your own anger, you wonder, “What the heck is wrong with my laptop?” The easy, quick and lazy reaction to this is “It could be that I have a virus.” If you complete a virus check with your preferred anti-virus you will notice that is usually not the case.

The fact of the matter is that the more and more browsing the internet you do, the more you open, save and exit applications, the more you download new software, the more junk you are acquiring in a very important section of your personal computer, the registry. The windows registry is the part of your personal computer that holds the files and commands needed for its intended functions. Now, with all the burden we place on our PC to get work done, keep us updated with all the latest events that are taking place socially in our lives, keep us up-to-date with current events, keep us amused, et cetera, it is only a matter of time until our registry ends up filled with useless garbage. When that occurs, you will see that terrible delay in, well, everything. Checking your electronic mail will be as slow as snail trails, applications and processes will be as slow as molasses, and loading pages will take forever.

In order to put an end to this problem of a cluttered registry, you need to revise any incorrect registry entries, reinstate lost ones, and delete all unwanted entries from the registry. Now you can get this achieved in a few different ways. The pricey way would be to go to your nearest geek troop and throw away over a hundred dollars, as if cash grew in fields like corn, was falling from the big, blue sky, or like a night out at the club with an alcoholic brother. That is okay if you are Donald Trump, Bill Gates, a rapper or basketball player.

The 2nd way would be to amend the registry yourself. Now this poses the threat that, if you don’t know what you’re doing, you can make your PC slower or worse or cause a fatal error, which is not particularly fun, unless you are looking for a new desktop anyway.

The less expensive and less time consuming way to bring your registry to tiptop shape would be to use a application known as a registry cleaner. A registry cleaner is a cost-effective program that automatically cleans your registry. You would first perform a scan to run through the personal computer and sort out all the errors that are present in your registry. Once it locates the mistakes, it will prompt you to repair them and will ,without delay, get to work. This procedure can take some time, depending on how corrupted your registry is, however after this is completed, your desktop will run like new. Your pal has been restored to life.

Now, for the record, not all registry cleaners are the same. Some can find additional errors and thus can fix more registry problems. The most well-known registry cleaner out there is Registry Easy. JustForPC.com has a page that compares Registry Easy with the two other leading registry cleaners online. Go there and check out registry easy to see for yourself which one works for you.
